Well, I played the Jet Set and took
a trip to good ol' Los Angeles. While I was there I got a chance to meet
up with Swingerhead West a couple of times. First I saw them at the Coconut
club. This is a classy place. Nice atmosphere. There couldn't be a better
place to play every Saturday night. The show was great of course and I
got to hear lots of new arrangements of old standards.
I noticed that on Wednesday they
were playing at the Derby. I knew I had to see this. Mike and Sonya got
me in (If anyone asks, I'm 21 ok?). To see Swingerhead at one of the premeire
swing venues around, I was in heaven. Also, I was happy to see Tim because
he wasn't at the Coconut. I got some great pictures here and there's more
to come!

Although it's not the biggest
stage in the world, they make the most of it.
